Terms of Service

Last updated: 26 April 2026

The member portal is shared by SFK and SYD — two non-profit Swedish skydiving sports clubs, both affiliated with the Swedish Skydiving Federation. Membership in either club is open to qualified skydivers; applications are made via the respective club websites at skydiveskane.se and skydivesyd.se.

These are the terms of service for the member portal — the website at medlemsportal.hew.dev and the iOS / Android apps (collectively "the service"). By using the service you accept these terms.

1. Who can use the service

The service is a community tool for SFK and SYD members and invited guests (e.g. visitors from other Swedish clubs). Anyone who meets a club's membership criteria can apply via skydiveskane.se or skydivesyd.se. New accounts in the service are manually approved by club administrators before they're activated — the same way many other sports-club and gym apps verify that an applicant is in fact a member.

2. Your account

You're responsible for:

  • Keeping the data you provide accurate — especially license, ratings, and jump log
  • Keeping your password secret
  • Not sharing your account with others
  • Notifying the club immediately if you suspect someone else has used your account

3. What you can do

You can use the service to:

  • Log and share your own jumps
  • RSVP to jump days and events
  • Communicate with other members
  • Upload a profile picture, jump log, and equipment data

4. What you can't do

  • Upload content that is illegal, hateful, abusive, sexual, or otherwise inappropriate
  • Impersonate other people or submit false data
  • Log jumps for others without their permission
  • Forge signatures or otherwise manipulate logbook records
  • Try to circumvent security or permission controls
  • Use the service for commercial activity without the club's written consent
  • Spam, distribute malware, or scrape data through automation

5. Logbook records

The logbook is the club's official documentation and must be maintained according to Swedish Skydiving Federation rules. This means:

  • Jumps must be logged accurately — date, altitude, freefall, dropzone, participants
  • An instructor's signature is legally binding for what the student has documented
  • Incorrect documentation may lead to disciplinary action from the federation
  • The club retains your logbook records even if you delete your account — this is required for federation documentation. Personal data is scrubbed, but jump data is retained.

6. User-generated content

When you post content in the service (comments, notes, profile), you grant the club the right to display the content to other members within the service. You retain copyright to your content.

You represent that:

  • You have the right to publish the content
  • It doesn't infringe anyone else's rights
  • It complies with these terms

7. Moderation

Club administrators may at any time:

  • Remove content that violates these terms
  • Disable your account for repeated violations
  • Report suspected criminal activity to authorities

To report inappropriate content, contact an administrator.

8. Suspension and deletion

We may suspend or delete your account if you:

  • Violate these terms
  • Leave the club
  • Are inactive for more than 24 months

You can delete your account at any time via Settings → Delete account or medlemsportal.hew.dev/delete-account.

9. Liability

The service is provided "as is". The club is not responsible for:

  • Lost data if you delete your account
  • Service outages caused by third-party providers (Supabase, Vercel, Apple, Google)
  • Damages or disputes between members arising from content in the service

The service does not replace physical safety checks at the dropzone. Verifying equipment, ratings, and conditions is always the responsibility of you and the jump leadership.

10. Fees

The service is free for club members. No in-app purchases.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. For significant changes we'll show a notice in the app. Continued use after an update means you've accepted the new terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by Swedish law. Disputes are handled in Swedish general courts.
